I came across this awesome article written by the CEO of Beachbody, Carl Daikeler, where he explains in great detail, the purpose of Shakeology and how it is set apart from all the other “health shakes” that are out there.
But the answer to the question is that there really isnt a product to compare Shakeology with. If you are someone who eats out to lunch everyday, that can run anywhere from $7-$10. Each serving works out to about $4 per day, which is a fairly inexpensive meal if you are using it as a meal replacement (which you should be). I know people ask this question because of the price. I do get asked a lot though, “what is comparable to Shakeology?”. I am even more pumped now that they are coming out with a vegan Shakeology that will be tropical flavor! I was amazed even after the first week! I had intense amounts of energy throughout the entire day, my regularity was…well…regular, and after committing to drinking it every day, after two months I had dropped 3% body fat! I am still surprised at the stories I hear of people reversing type-2 diabetes or getting rid of chronic ailments, all because of this awesome shake! I guess that is why I get so excited about it. So I decided to replace one meal per day with Shakeology: Breakfast. So I figured what the heck! Even with as healthy and clean as I eat, I still cant get everything I my body needs. Its made from whole food sources that help to fill in the gaps that even the healthiest diets could not fill. But for those of you who do not know, Shakeology is a meal replacement, not just some generic protein shake. The reason being I assume, is because I make it very clear that Shakeology has been key in my success.
